SUPPORTERS SUMMIT ACTION PLAN 28TH JULY

We are aware of the multiple issues supporters have faced recently in regard to purchasing tickets and entering Vale Park, and have once again had open and constructive conversation with the Supporter’s Summit and Supporters Club.

The ticket office and retail function have now merged (The Vale Store) and therefore the ticket office will not be in use on a regular basis. All tickets can be purchased from the club store which now has currently up to eight service points, all of which you can now purchase merchandise and match tickets from.

Paper Tickets

Due to consistent technical issues we are facing with our ticket printers, which are linked to the current system we use, we have experienced significant printing problems. This has directly impacted the speed, service and efficiency of our ticketing operations.

For now, if purchasing or collecting a ticket in-store, supporters will get a QR code printed on a receipt, while it’s not traditional, this is the fastest and most efficient way of printing your ticket. However, you can request for your ticket to be sent to direct to your email address as an e-ticket. We will have a further update over the coming weeks on how our long term ticketing function and staffing will operate.

Contacting the Ticket Office

We apologise for a number of supporters who have encountered unanswered calls, messages and emails over a period of time. We know a number of supporters have had issues when calling the ticket office, we are aware of these problems and a plan is being formulated to improve this.

Please be reminded that the first port of call for any ticketing query should be to email ticketoffice@port-vale.co.uk with as much detail as possible and contact number, one of our team will help via email or phone call within 48 hours.

Alternatively, If you have any ticketing enquiries please head to www.port-vale.co.uk/ticketsinfo/ticket-faqs/

Turnstiles and entering Vale Park

Operationally we have experienced delays in getting supporters inside Vale Park on a match day, we accept that this is unacceptable and has happened consistently at the start of this season.

We have recently recruited a new turnstile manager who will oversee pre-, during and post-matchday turnstile operations and following consistent staffing problems from the start of this season, we are also recruiting new turnstile operators to work alongside the existing staff that have continually shown commitment to the club.

Weaknesses that have been identified with the condition and capability of current scanners, WIFI and staffing numbers are being addressed and a plan will be implemented effective immediately to ensure positive progression in these areas.

We apologise profusely to any supporter who has had a less than satisfactory experience when visiting or contacting Vale Park and please be assured that we take all feedback, positive and negative on board and use it to develop our supporter experience.
